Celebrating
Workflow: Blender, Photoshop/Substance Painter, Unreal Engine
The Instructions: Create a modern-looking talk show set, similar to an AI concept provided by a customer. This set has not been used since the site was created.
Process: Inspiration from around the web. and from customer provided ideas(AI)

Concept: Normally, I create a concept in Photoshop and, like most of my sets, create a collage, even when I end up using Premiere or DaVinci. However, this product was different because, as mentioned earlier, the customer provided some concepts that AI generated for them, and we combined the final idea with those concepts.

Versions: At every iteration, we’ve been testing the LED wall. Initially, it was just used to block out the structure. The set design team, the customer, and the production personnel collaborate to create the best possible set.

The Set: We came very close to achieving the concept. It’s a success! With the right prop, this set will be a fantastic addition once it’s used. I also took charge of the CAD design for the platform and installing the LED strip to the base.

Blender and Unreal Engine: As mentioned earlier, Blender was used to design and block out the concept. The Unreal Engine is typically used for the heavy lifting. If necessary, basic structures are created in Blender, and I also create more complex models, including texturing and baking, as needed. As mentioned earlier, the blockout was a basic setup.
